After many years of deliberation, planning, and much overthinking, the blog is finally live.
English is not my native tongue; I learned it as a second language. However, it has been in my life since the first grade. I still remember the first dialogue I was given, which started with the phrase, “Excuse me, is this your handbag?” There was a cartoon of a lady and a man, exchanging a couple of sentences related to the handbag.
Although not my native one, English is my professional language. I am a computer engineer, completed my BS, MS, and PhD, all in English, and worked in software business with multi-national teams. The ultimate common point among all software people is that they understand and can communicate in English or something that resembles the English language.
So, I decided to build the blog, as well as the content, in English. It is not only for reaching out to a larger audience (although this is an important point also), but, in a way, this is work, and I need to put the same discipline into creating my content. By using my professional language, I hope to achieve this.
Thanks to my fellow software people, we all have access to excellent tools that diminish the language barriers.
I am so glad you chose English, this way I can also be part of the audiance. 😀
